Cast out by her ex‑husband Adrian Mercer, Evelyn Vale takes refuge in Black Ridge pack as nanny for traumatized pup Noah and signs a contract‑mate deal with Alpha Rowan Hale. She heals Noah and grows close to the respectful Rowan. They resist Adrian's harassment. Evelyn's dormant wolf Ember awakens, and she becomes Black Ridge's Luna. Ruined by faulty antidote crimes, Adrian begs for help but is refused. Evelyn gets pregnant, and the three build a happy family.
