Achilles, son of sea goddess Thetis and mortal king Peleus, is abandoned at birth and raised by a disabled Spartan warrior. Unaware of his origins, he endures abuse until his mother gives him a divine spear. He slays monstrous beasts, awakens his demigod bloodline, and avenges his adoptive father. As he is about to kill his enemies, King Peleus arrives—revealing Achilles as his long-lost son, the prince of Phthia.
